During a career spanning four decades Chris has become 'one of our finest interpreters of popular song; delighting audiences with his warm voice and easy manner in performances in clubs, concert,radio and T.V. Chris has a 'serious pedigree' being the son of Leslie Hutchinson better known as Hutch first of the singing superstars'the maestro of nostalgia' - the highest paid cabaret star of the 30's and 40's. He did fist recordings of many of the songs that we know today as 'standards'.In 2012 English Heritage erected a plague on the house in London, Chris remembers as a child, in honour of his father's contribution to music Chris is justly proud and later recorded a song
of the same title as on the plaque 'Hutch Lived Here'.His father recorded over 450 titles between 1925 and 1967 many still available on nostalgia labels.
Chris is delighted to be on Hospital Radio he has appeared on Radio 2 - Arrow FM Radio Derby and a regular on Radio Sussex. He loves Radio and thinks of it as a friend just like his songs! He is happy to be giving something back to the Conquest after being treated for two serious.illnesses successfully.As well as radio he regularly sings on the balcony in lunchtime concerts.So after countless appearances singing 'songs from the golden age of popular song he is now playing them too! Currently two C.D.'s available from Chris are : 'Easy Going Me' and 'Comes Love'.
